Check out this new edition with four articles of completely relevant content to FSU Panama.
David Russell interviewed Maria Elena Puerta, the newest addition to the FSU Panama team, of whom he tells us a little bit about in his article, and Robert Jackson provides information and recommendations about the Computer Science program we offer here on campus, which can be done entirely without leaving Panama.
The other two articles in this edition share an international perspective. The first one, by Ana Gabriel Lobo, is a compare and contrast between FSU Panama and Purdue University in Indiana. In the second one, Christen Gandy tells us about her experiences with the FSU International Program in Italy. About this I should note that, with all the fuss about Tallahassee, we sometimes overlook the fact that FSU’s International Program is consistently ranked among the top 20 in the nation, and we all have the opportunity of attending the branches in Italy and London.
This semester’s first edition is certainly not a very large one; it only has one article. The reason behind this, however, is a bit worrisome and should be of interest to the entire university. The one article we have is precisely about that reason.
We will be working on publishing another issue fairly soon, this time with more than one article hopefully. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the little we have to offer and continue to enjoy the World Cup!
